Die Fortuna steht über allem. Die Planken, die man für diesen Verein in den vergangenen Jahren aufgebaut hat, sollten weiter eingehalten werden." Pfannenstiel lobt vor allem die Geschlossenheit im sportlichen Bereich bei Fortuna. "Wir haben eine Familie in der Kabine - mit Friedhelm Funkel als Papa", sagte Pfannenstiel. "Wenn wir einen sportlichen Volltreffer haben können, der aber charakterliche Schwächen hat, werde ich diesen Transfer verhindern. Jeder muss in unser Fortuna-Gebilde passen."
