"In der FVM-Satzung ist verankert, dass der FVM und seine Vereine parteipolitisch und weltanschaulich neutral sind. Daher appellieren wir dringend an unsere Vereine, auf politische Gesten und Statements auf dem Fußballplatz zu verzichten." Im FVM sei bisher keine Nachahmung der politisch motivierten Jubel-Geste der türkischen Nationalspieler bekannt. "Sollten wir dazu Kenntnis erlangen, werden wir kurzfristig Stellungnahmen der Vereine einholen und über eine Abgabe an das Verbandssportgericht entscheiden", sagt Neuendorf. The FVM is not yet aware of any imitation of the politically motivated cheering gesture of the Turkish national players. "Should we become aware of this, we will obtain statements from the clubs at short notice and decide on a levy for the federation sports court," says Neuendorf. The Mittelrhein Football Association is the seventh largest of the 21 regional associations of the German Football Association (DFB).
