"Durch den Zusammenschluss mit Unitymedia schaffen wir bis 2022 rund 25 Millionen Gigabit-Haushalte in Deutschland. Die Kabel-Infrastruktur bringt deutlich schnellere Geschwindigkeiten als DSL. Das katapultiert Deutschland im europäischen Vergleich auf einen Spitzenplatz. Endlich bewegt sich etwas in diesem Land", sagte Ametsreiter. Nach der Fusion von Vodafone und Unitymedia ist Hagen die erste Stadt, in der Kunden mit einem Gigabit pro Minute surfen, streamen und Filme herunterladen können.
