Wir haben die Intensität der Verfolgung stark erhöht, um solchen Unternehmen möglichst schnell und nachhaltig das Handwerk zu legen."
Insbesondere im Internet tummeln sich dubiose Geschäftemacher mit unseriösen Renditeversprechen. "Der Schaden, der entstehen kann, ist immens. Zuweilen geht es um hohe, auch um dreistellige Millionenbeträge", sagte Bafin-Exekutivdirektor Pötzsch. "Das Image des gesamten Finanzmarkts leidet darunter, wenn die Anzahl der schwarzen Schafe hoch ist." The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bafin) is increasingly taking action against providers on the so-called black capital market. "We are noticing that more and more companies are appearing on the market that conduct business for which they do not have the necessary permission," said Bafin Executive Director Thorsten Pötzsch, speaking to the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (WAZ), which appears in Essen.
"We have already intervened 128 times this year. Last year there were 87 cases. We increased the intensity of the pursuit strongly, in order to put such enterprises as fast and lastingly as possible the handicraft.
In particular in the Internet dubious profiteers cavort with dubious net yield promises. "The damage that can occur is immense.
