Tennor investiert 234 Millionen Euro in Hertha BSC
Im Juni diesen Jahres hatte die Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA eine strategische Partnerschaft mit der global agierenden Investmentfirma Tennor Holding B.V. abgeschlossen. Die Vereinbarung umfasste ein zeitlich unbegrenztes Eigenkapital-Investment über 125 Millionen Euro. Damit erwarb Tennor eine Minderheitsbeteiligung von 37,5 Prozent. Die damals bereits vereinbarte Möglichkeit zur Aufstockung der Anteile zu einem höheren Preis auf 49,9 Prozent sei jetzt umgesetzt worden. Für weitere 12,4 Prozent der Anteile habe die Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA 99 Millionen Euro erhalten. Aufsichtsrat und Präsidium des Vereins sowie der Aufsichtsrat und Beirat der KGaA hätten diesem Schritt bereits im Juni einstimmig zugestimmt.

Verbunden sei die Aufstockung der Anteile mit zwei weiteren Plätzen im Aufsichtsrat der Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA, der aus neun Mitgliedern bestehe. Für einen dieser beiden Plätze habe die Tennor Jürgen Klinsmann benannt. "Ich freue mich, ab sofort Teil des spannendsten Fußball-Projektes in Europa zu sein.
