Sky werde jeden Tag live vom ATP Cup, der Auftaktveranstaltung des neuen Tennisjahres, berichten und die besten Spiele übertragen. Der neue Mannschaftswettbewerb werde vom 3. Januar bis zum 12. Januar in den australischen Städten Brisbane, Perth und Sydney ausgetragen. Alle Spiele mit deutscher Beteiligung zeige Sky live und mit deutschem Kommentar. Sky Experte Patrik Kühnen werde als Co-Kommentar während des gesamten Turniers seine Einschätzungen geben. Beim ATP Cup gelte die aktuelle ATP Rangliste, über die sich die Nationalteams und die einzelnen Spieler für den ATP Cup qualifizierten.
Die acht besten Teams qualifizieren sich für die K.o.-Phase
Zum aktuellen Teilnehmerfeld gehörten neun von zehn Top 10 Spieler beziehungsweise 26 Spieler aus den Top 30. 24 Teams spielen zunächst in einer sechstägigen Gruppenphase gegeneinander. Gespielt werden pro Partie zwei Einzel und ein Doppel. Die acht besten Teams qualifizieren sich für die viertägige K.o.-Phase in Sydney. Sky Germany has extended the current agreement with ATP and ATP Media and has secured live broadcasting rights to the ATP Cup for the 2020 season, which are exclusive to Germany. The agreement also includes rights for Austria and Switzerland. Like the other ATP Tour tournaments broadcast by Sky, the ATP Cup will be part of the Sky Sport package.
Sky will report live every day from the ATP Cup, the kick-off event of the new tennis year, and broadcast the best matches. The new team competition will take place from 3 January to 12 January in the Australian cities of Brisbane, Perth and Sydney. Show all matches with German participation Sky live and with German commentary. Sky expert Patrik Kühnen will give his assessments as co-commentary during the whole tournament.
