Zahlreiche Anträge befassen sich mit Angelegenheiten des Landtages (Zusammensetzung, Gremien) und dem Verhältnis zu Kommunen.
So wird die Landesregierung nach ihren „Beraterverträgen“, den „Ausgaben für externe Berater“, nach Veränderungen bei der „Kommunalen Finanzaufsicht“ oder „Veranstaltungen der Hessischen Landesvertretung in Brüssel“ gefragt.
- Weiter will die AfD wissen, wie viele und mit welchen Kosten verbunden es „Kommunale Partnerschaften“ von Städten, Gemeinden und Landkreisen in Hessen gibt; und was die Landesregierung unter „Klimastädtepartnerschaften“ versteht.
- In einer Kleinen Anfrage geht es um die „Überprüfung auf frühere Tätigkeit bei der Stasi von Bediensteten in Hessen.“
- In mehreren Änderungsanträgen lehnt die AfD-Fraktion die Erhöhung der Entschädigungsleistung für Abgeordnete und des Budgets für die Fraktionen ab.

The Marburg scientists Benno Hafeneger and Hannah Jestädt have analyzed the behavior of the AfD in the Hessian state parliament. Here are the results of the Landtag and the municipalities.
State parliament and municipalities
Numerous proposals deal with matters of the Landtag (composition, committees) and relations with local authorities.
For example, the state government is asked about its "consultancy contracts", "expenditure on external consultants", changes in the "municipal financial supervision" or "events of the Hessian state representation in Brussels".
The AfD also wants to know how many and at what cost there are "municipal partnerships" of towns, municipalities and administrative districts in Hesse; and what the state government understands by "climate town partnerships".
In a small inquiry it concerns the examination on former activity with the Stasi of officials in Hessen.
In several amendments the AfD parliamentary group rejects the increase of the compensation payment for delegates and the budget for the parliamentary groups.
