The percentage of asylum applications by refugee children born in Germany for the first time continues to rise.
According to a report in the Dusseldorf newspaper "Rheinische Post", citing statistics from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, the proportion rose from 19.9 percent last year to 22 percent of all initial applications in the first eleven months of this year.
