Dem Aktionsplan zufolge will die Bundesregierung die Integration schon in den Heimatländern der Zuwanderer beginnen lassen. "Wir wollen bereits vor der Einwanderung die Weichen auf Integration stellen. Damit knüpfen wir an die Erfahrungen klassischer Einwanderungsländer an. Und wir fördern eine sichere, geordnete und reguläre Migration in unser Land", sagte die Integrationsbeauftragte der Bundesregierung, Annette Widmann-Mauz (CDU). Konkret geht es um das Vermitteln realistischer Erwartungen an Deutschland, Spracherwerb und Bildungsangebote. Anfang März soll das Vorhaben beim 11. Integrationsgipfel der Bundeskanzlerin vorgestellt werden. Widmann-Mauz verwies darauf, dass man die ganze Integrationsexpertise des Landes nutzen wolle. "Hier arbeiten Bund, Länder und Kommunen im Schulterschluss mit der Zivilgesellschaft", sagte die CDU-Politikerin. Insgesamt seien es mehr als 300 Akteure, darunter 75 Migrantenorganisationen. "Unser Ansatz: Wir reden miteinander, nicht übereinander." Der Aktionsplan Migration flankiert das Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz, das am 1. März 2020 in Kraft treten wird.
