Die Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) macht sich Sorgen wegen der schnellen Ausbreitung des Virus, lobt aber die chinesische Regierung wegen ihrer Maßnahmen, die weitere Ausbreitung der neuen Lungenkrankheit zu bekämpfen. Gleichzeitig richtet die WHO eine Warnung an die Länder, die ihre Staatsangehörigen aus China ausfliegen wollen. Solche Maßnahmen würden Ansteckungsgefahren bergen.
