Der FC Schalke 04 legt Wert darauf, eines unmissverständlich klarzustellen: Wir distanzieren uns ganz klar von derartigen Plakaten, diffamierenden Äußerungen und persönlichen Beleidigungen und akzeptieren keinerlei Bagatellisierung. Wir werden dieses Verhalten gemäß der Stadionordnung konsequent ahnden, die Verursacher dieser Diffamierungen ausgrenzen.
Mannschaft wird den Platz verlassen
Sollten am kommenden Dienstag (3.3.) im Pokalspiel gegen den FC Bayern München, beim Spiel gegen die TSG Hoffenheim (7.3.) oder auch bei zukünftigen Spielen derartige Vorkommnisse in der VELTINS-Arena sichtbar werden, wird unsere Mannschaft den Platz verlassen – ungeachtet der Spieldauer, des Resultats oder etwaiger Konsequenzen.
Fehlverhalten wird nicht toleriert
Unabhängig davon führen wir wie bisher Gespräche mit allen Fangruppierungen mit dem klaren Ziel und der Erwartung, dass sie solches Fehlverhalten nicht tolerieren, geschweige denn unterstützen. Die Werte unseres Vereins und des Leitbilds, das wir uns selbst gegeben haben, lassen keinerlei Spielraum für Toleranz angesichts von Hass, Intoleranz und Diffamierung.

FC Schalke 04 attaches importance to making one thing unmistakably clear: We distance ourselves clearly from such posters, defamatory statements and personal insults and do not accept any trivialization. We will consistently punish this behaviour in accordance with the stadium regulations, and exclude the perpetrators of these defamations.

Should such incidents become apparent in the VELTINS-Arena next Tuesday (3.3.) in the cup match against FC Bayern Munich, in the match against TSG Hoffenheim (7.3.) or in future matches, our team will leave the pitch - regardless of the length of the match, the result or any consequences.
Misconduct will not be tolerated
Irrespective of this, we continue to hold talks with all fan groups with the clear goal and expectation that they will not tolerate such misconduct, let alone support it. The values of our association and the mission statement we have given ourselves leave no room for tolerance in the face of hatred, intolerance and defamation.
