Auf Anweisung von Güterslohs Landrat Sven-Georg Adenauer (CDU) und NRW-Gesundheitsminister Karl-Josef Laumann (CDU) müssen alle Produktionsmitarbeiter von Tönnies nach dem Ausbruch erneut getestet werden.
"Es stehen noch etwa 5.350 Tests aus", sagt Focken. "Derzeit wird der Kreis vor allem von ehrenamtlichen Mitarbeitern des Deutschen Roten Kreuz und des Malteser Hilfsdienstes unterstützt, die mittlerweile an der Grenze des Zumutbaren arbeiten."
Abstriche der Tönnies-Mitarbeiter dauern bis nächste Woche
Nach Auskunft von Focken bittet der Kreis Gütersloh die Bundeswehr um die Unterstützung von 13 Soldaten mit medizinischen Vorkenntnissen und zwölf weiteren Mitarbeitern für die Dokumentation. "Wir hoffen, dass wir wie bereits bei den Untersuchungen im Mai etwa 1.000 Coronatests pro Tag durchführen können", erklärt Focken. Sollte es der Kreis schaffen, ab heute pro Tag 1.000 Coronatests durchzuführen, werden die Abstriche sämtlicher Tönnies-Mitarbeiter in der Produktion bis mindestens nächsten Freitag andauern. pm, ots
