Ein Sprecher des NRW-Innenministeriums ergänzte, dass von den Rückkehrern in vielen Fällen eine erhebliche Gefahr ausgehe, weil sie an Waffen ausgebildet und kampferfahren seien. "Und weil sie die gewaltbereite dschihadistische Ideologie verinnerlicht haben und unsere Lebensweise zutiefst verachten."
Rund 110 Personen könnten noch zurückkehren
Laut Verfassungsschutz halten sich noch etwa 110 Personen mit NRW-Bezügen im ehemals vom Islamischen Staat kontrollierten Gebieten auf, die zurückkehren könnten. "Davon befinden sich etwa 50 Personen in Syrien, dem Irak oder der Türkei in Camps und Gefängnissen", sagte der Sprecher des Innenministeriums.
