6600 Infizierte sind eben nicht 6600 Erkrankte. Diese klarstellende Unterscheidung fehlt in der Beurteilung und in der Berichterstattung allzu oft. Der Vorwurf, dass diese fehlende Differenzierung den Leuten Angst machen soll, um sie zu einem anderen Verhalten zu bewegen, steht jedenfalls im Raum.
Und je unsinniger und unverhältnismäßiger beabsichtigte Schutzmaßnahmen wie das Beherbergungsverbot sind, desto geringer ist die Akzeptanz auch der sinnvollen Regeln. Es steht außer Frage, dass die Zunahme der Infektionen Anlass zur Sorge bietet. Aber es ist unseriös, mit fahrlässigem Gerede von Leichentransporten in Bergamo im März heute Hysterie zu erzeugen.
Mehr Gelassenheit ist gefragt
