"Dabei bleibt der Schutz für Leib und Leben auf der Strecke. Bundesregierung und Europäische Kommission müssen das stoppen. Sei es mit Regressforderungen oder Ausfuhrbegrenzungen." Der Patientenschützer reagierte auf Ankündigungen von Biontech und AstraZeneca, wegen Produktionsengpässen Millionen für das erste Quartal zugesagte Impfstoffdosen erst später liefern zu können. Am Montag hatte EU-Kommissionspräsidentin Ursula von der Leyen gegenüber AstraZeneca protestiert.

"Die Impfstoffe-Hersteller machen, was sie wollen", schimpfte Brysch, gab Berlin und Brüssel aber eine Mitverantwortung. "Die Verträge sind blauäugig verhandelt. Selbst Forschungsgelder in Milliardenhöhe haben Deutschland und Europa ohne Bedingungen überwiesen. Jetzt kommt die Quittung." pm, ots
