Zu den Merkel-Plänen gehört offenbar ein härteres Regime an den Grenzen, das auch verbunden werden soll mit einer drastischen Einschränkung von Urlaubsreisen. Man müsse noch strenger werden, andernfalls lande man in Kürze wieder da, wo man bereits gewesen sei - damit deutet die Kanzlerin an, dass der Lockdown nicht Mitte Februar enden soll.Es mag sein, dass die Kanzlerin die Dramatisierung der Corona-Lage vor den CDU-Funktionären einsetzen wollte, um sich gegen Ministerpräsidenten durchzusetzen.
Harten Kurs in der Lockdown-Politik
Sie vertritt von Beginn an einen härteren Kurs in der Corona-Lockdown-Politik. Insbe-sondere ihr Nach-Nachfolger als CDU-Chef, NRW-Ministerpräsident Armin Laschet, hatte dagegen stets einen eigenen Kurs gegen das Merkel-Kabinett mit mehr Lockerungen zu profilieren versucht.Tatsächlich hat Merkel mit ihrem jetzigen Eingeständnis einen Offenbarungseid für die gesamte Corona-Politik in Bund und Ländern geleistet.
Corona-Kampf ohne klare Linie
Angefangen von ihrem Kanzleramtsminister Braun, der bereits von einer Aufhebung der Schuldenbremse wegen Corona spricht, über die Ministerpräsidenten, die in ihren Ländern jeden harten Anti-Virus-Kurs verweichlichen, bis hin zu den lokalen Gesundheitsämtern, die zu oft an rückständigen Organisationen im Amt scheitern - der Anti-Corona-Kampf in Deutschland präsentiert sich ohne klare Linie. Stattdessen hangelt sich das Land hilflos von einer Hoffnungsnachricht bei den Impfstoffen zum nächsten Desaster eines schlechten Krisenmanagements.
Schwächelnde Politik führt ins Chaos
Ein Blick in die Niederlande und auf deren nächtliche Krawalle zeigt, in welches Chaos eine so schwächelnde Politik führen kann.Das alles sei furchtbar, soll Merkel ihrer CDU-Spitze gesagt haben. Man nenne es "Naturkatastrophe". Das mag sein, aber man erwartet schon ein deutlich verbessertes und souveräneres Krisenmanagement. Und zwar dringend. Von den zuständigen Ministern der Merkel-Regierung, allen voran dem Gesundheitsminister Jens Spahn. Auch von den Ländern. Aber vor allem von der Kanzlerin selbst: Ihr Offenbarungseid reicht dafür nicht.
