Jugendrichter Andreas Müller hat die Sondierer einer möglichen Ampel-Koalition aufgefordert, möglichst schnell Cannabis zu legalisieren.
Im Interview mit der "Neuen Osnabrücker Zeitung" sagte der Buchautor und Jurist zum derzeitigen Verbot: "Es ist verfassungswidrig, weil es gegen das Gleichheitsgebot verstößt." Zehntausende Menschen würden jedes Jahr an den Folgen von Alkoholkonsum sterben, kein einziger sterbe indes an Cannabis. Müller forderte die SPD auf, sich hier der Position von FDP und Grünen anzuschließen, die eine Legalisierung anstreben. Die SPD hingegen setzte im Wahlprogramm auf Modellprojekte.

Da wird die SPD nicht durchkommen
Müller sagte der "NOZ": "Was die SPD will, ist Feigenblattpolitik, um die letzten Rentner unter den Wählern noch gnädig zu stimmen. Da wird die SPD nicht mit durchkommen." Die kleineren möglichen Koalitionspartner müssten sich hier mit ihrer Position durchsetzen. Müller appellierte an diesem Zusammenhang aber auch an die jungen Bundestagsabgeordneten der SPD: "Ich setze auf die Jusos in der SPD." Die müssten die übrigen Sozialdemokraten zur "richtigen Entscheidung" drängen. "Die Jugend will sich nicht mehr vom Staat verfolgen lassen. Die Jusos wissen das", so Müller. Selbst bei der CDU-Nachwuchsorganisation Junge Union "gibt es Leute, die kiffen".
Widerstand aus konservativen Kreisen aushalten
Der Jugendrichter riet den möglichen Ampel-Parteien, möglichen Widerstand aus konservativen Kreisen auszuhalten. "Bis zur nächsten Wahl ist das alles vergessen. Bis dahin gehen Oma und Enkel längst gemeinsam in den Coffeeshop und tauschen sich darüber aus, welche Cannabis-Sorte die beste ist." Müller selbst hatte 2020 eine Normenkontrollklage beim Bundesverfassungsgericht eingereicht, über die noch nicht entschieden worden ist. Auf Twitter wirbt er derzeit für eine Legalisierung. pm, ots
