Schleswig-Holsteins Bildungsministerin Karin Prien (CDU) hat dem CSU-Vorsitzenden Markus Söder eine Mitschuld für das schlechte Abschneiden der Union bei der Bundestagswahl gegeben.
Er habe dazu beigetragen, dass die Union "keinen geschlossenen und einen unsympathischen Eindruck vermittelte", sagte die CDU-Politikerin dem "Tagesspiegel am Sonntag". Auch Söders Verhalten nach der Wahl nähere die "Zweifel an seiner Eignung, die schon bei der Auswahl der Kanzlerkandidaten vorhanden waren". Prien forderte, CDU und CSU müssten offen darüber sprechen, was die gemeinsamen strategischen Ziele der nächsten Jahre seien.
