Zu diesem Thema sei bereits alles gesagt, erklärte sie im Inforadio vom rbb und verwies dabei auf mehrere Beschlüsse der Gesundheitsminister in der Vergangenheit: "Da haben wir damals Gegenwind geerntet, dass wir uns wieder über die noch nicht vorhandene Stiko-Empfehlung hinwegsetzen. Ich habe damals schon alle Ärzte angeschrieben, noch bevor die Stiko-Empfehlung da war und habe gesagt: Auffrischimpfungen für die vulnerablen Gruppen."
Stärkeres öffentliches Bewusstsein notwendig
Nonnemacher betonte, wichtiger sei vielmehr ein stärkeres, öffentliches Bewusstsein für den Ernst der Lage: "Ich denke, was so wichtig ist, dass allgemein in der Bevölkerung diese Mentalität, Corona sei ja jetzt vorbei, dass das klar gesagt werden muss: Wir laufen in eine vierte Welle rein, die im Moment droht, genauso hoch zu werden wie die Wellen, die wir letztes Jahr hatten." pm, ots
