Aufgrund der englischen Woche zeigt der Pay-TV-Sender Sky am Wochenende sowie am Dienstag, Mittwoch und Donnerstag alle zwanzig Spiele des 13. und 14. Spieltags. Erstes großes Highlight ist am Sonntag das "Match of the Week" zwischen dem FC Chelsea und Manchester United. Nach der blamablen 1:4-Niederlage beim FC Watford musste Trainer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seinen Posten bei ManUnited räumen, unter der Woche gelang mit dem bisherigen Co-Trainer Michael Carrick jedoch ein 2:0-Auswärtssieg bei Villarreal in der Champions League. Und jetzt sitzt demnächst mit dem Deutschen, Ralf Rangnick, eine Trainer-Ikone auf der ManU-Bank.

Jene Aufbruchstimmung Manchesters möchte Tabellenführer Chelsea jedoch sofort im Keim ersticken. Die Elf um Thomas Tuchel liegt aktuell drei Punkte vor Manchester City, das mit Gegner West Ham United ebenfalls eine schwierige Aufgabe vor der Brust hat.
Bereits am kommenden Mittwoch folgt das nächste "Match of the Week". Dann steht im Goodison Park das Merseyside Derby zwischen dem FC Everton und dem FC Liverpool an.
